Nino Altobelli is the Creative Director for Rocco Altobelli Salons and Day Spas, an award winning series of three full-service salons based in Minneapolis / St.. Paul, MN. Recognized as a world renowned leader in hair design, his work has appeared in such top magazines as Vogue, Estetica, Cosmopolitan, and Glamour. In 2001 Minneapolis St.. Paul magazine listed him as one of the people most likely to change their industry.

Since studying under such industry icons as Jacques Dessange and Vidal Sassoon among others, Nino has traveled extensively, helping to produce and appear in industry leading hair shows and photo shoots in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. He has directed such noted industry events as the Alternative Hair Show and the annual Mondial Performance, presented by Intercoiffure Mondial, an international organization committed to promoting the existence of high quality hairdressing throughout the world.

In addition to his notable work behind the chair, Nino serves as Art director for the Fondation Guillaume – a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and providing career growth opportunities for young talent throughout the world, and is an “A Member” of Intercoiffure North America, an exclusive group of 200 of the most prestigious salons in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He is the youngest North American hairdresser to be knighted into the Ordre de la Chevalerie, Intercoiffure Mondiale, and has been recognized as
one of the “World’s Top Stylists” by Estetica Magazine.
